Bespoke Hotels take over management of London's La Suite West
The management of the 80-bedroom La Suite West hotel in Bayswater, London, has been taken over by Bespoke Hotels.
Owned by Meir Abutbul, who also owns the 47-bedroom Blakes hotel, the property opened as a hotel within a row of 19th-century town houses in August 2012. Its Japanese-inspired interior, with sharp, clean lines, was created by Anoushka Hempel, the one-time owner of Blakes hotel.
Raw, the hotel's 50-seat meat-free restaurant, which focuses on alcohol-free cocktails, is headed by chef Paolo Catalano.
Robin Sheppard, Bespoke's group chairman, said he was delighted to welcome La Suite West to the group.
"The décor, dry bar and delicious vegan menu combine to offer a truly unique experience to guests visiting Central London. It's a property that does things its way, which makes it a perfect fit for us."
Bespoke Hotels now operates a portfolio of more than 100 owned and managed properties in the UK and overseas.
