Bermondsey Square hotel on market for £33.75m as part of property package

Bermondsey Square, incorporating an 80-bedroom hotel, has gone on the market for £33.75m.

The Bermondsey Square hotel, which occupies one corner of the square, is operated by Bespoke Hotels on a fixed lease basis. It reached a wide television audience when it featured in the Channel 4 programme The Hotel with Gordon Ramsay and Mary Portas.

Located 10 minutes walk from London Bridge and The Shard, Bermondsey Square also include a mix of office and retail units and 76 residential apartments, which are all fully let. It houses a weekly antiques market.

Shaun Roy, head of specialist investment team, Knight Frank, said: "Bermondsey Square is a fantastic investment opportunity, in an increasingly up and coming area of London. The high level of investment activity on the nearby South Bank over the last twelve months indicates the interest this fringe City location is now demanding.
