Alhambra Reserva 1925 from Pierhead Purchasing

Alhambra Reserva 1925 has arrived in the UK from the Alhambra brewery, founded in 1925 in Granada, Spain. At 6.4% abv, it is brewed using Spanish spring water from the snow-capped Sierra Nevada mountains in a traditional batch fermentation process that takes several weeks. The result is a full-bodied, extra-smooth beer with a rich taste, that can be drunk on its own or as an accompaniment to tapas, barbecued meat and salads.

Other beers in the range are the standard Alhambra Premium (4.6% abv); Alhambra Negra (6.4% abv) - dark and full-bodied; Alhambra Especial (5.4% abv) - smooth and finely balanced; and Alhambra Mesquita (7.2%) - a full-bodied abbey-type beer. Alhambra Reserva 1925 is available in 330ml bottles.

Also from Pierhead Purchasing comes Crazy Ed's Original Crave Creek Chili Beer, sourced from Arizona and containing a whole chilli pepper in the bottle, which gives it a potent chilli flavour.

At 4.5% abv, Chili Beer is available in 330ml bottles in cases of 24.

Prices Alhambra, £16 for 24 x 330ml; Chili, £19 for 24 x 330ml
