Aerotel to land at Heathrow Terminal 3

Plaza Premium Group is set to open its first Aerotel in the UK at London Heathrow Airport Terminal 3 this month.

Aerotel London will offer flexible six-hour booking slots aimed at travellers arriving late, departing early or with a long layover. The hotel's 82 bedrooms will accommodate between one and four guests across four room types: solo plus, double plus, double squared and family.

The Hong Kong-based group already operates the "premium but affordable" brand at airports in Singapore, Abu Dhabi, Rio de Janeiro, Kuala Lumpur and Muscat. Aerotel London Heathrow will be the group's sixth hotel to open, its first in Europe, and will be the only airport hotel connected to Terminal 3.

General manager Amin Amin said: "Aerotel London promises a comfortable airport accommodation and flexible booking hours, bringing guests a brand new home-away-from-home experience at Heathrow, with added convenience."

John Arbuckle, Heathrow's head of property, said: "We are delighted to have worked with Aerotel to bring Heathrow passengers this new, comfortable, modern hotel next to Terminal 3 arrivals."

Room packages will start from £50 for six hours.
