Neil Braude started his management career in South Africa through the Protea Hotel Training Scheme, and became assistant food and beverage manager at the Protea hotel, managing a team of 43. He found his niche as the hotel's revenue manager and in his first year achieved the hotel's highest ever ADR and revpar.

In 2006 he moved to London's Waldorf Hilton, where he grew average room rates by 23% in 18 months. Two years later, Braude joined the Cavendish as director of revenue, achieving the hotel's highest ever takings in 2010.
