Heston Blumenthal's Fat Duck almost quadruples profits

Heston Blumenthal's Fat Duck almost quadrupled its post-tax profits in the year to 29 May 2019.

The restaurant in Bray, Berkshire, saw post-tax profits reach £0.8m, compared to £0.2m the previous year.

Accounts filed with Companies House showed earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) of £1.3m, an increase from £0.9m the previous year.

Turnover for the year stood at £7.3m, up from £6.7m the previous year.

Within the filings the group acknowledge risks to the industry Brexit, increases in the National Living Wage and supplier price inflation.
