Chef Graham Hornigold acquires Pretty Sweet patisserie

27 March 2023 by

Ex-Hakkasan chef Graham Hornigold has acquired the Pretty Sweet patisserie catering service.

The deal will see Hornigold work alongside head chef Bronwen Jackson, who also worked at Hakkasan as sous chef of Yauatcha.

Hornigold joined Hakkasan group as executive pastry chef in December 2011, having worked as chef pâtissier at the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park and as executive pastry chef of the Lanesborough London.

The new team at Pretty Sweet are said to be collaborating with a number of premium brands within the hospitality sector and will look to grow the business in the corporate market.

Hornigold said: "With the ongoing shortage of pastry chefs in hotels and restaurants, we are looking to consolidate some of the best talent under one roof to look after various disciplines within one production site. We will be offering premium products whilst educating and providing an inclusive working environment, which offers work life balance."

Jackson said: "I spoke with Graham about the role and we instantly saw eye to eye with wanting to provide the UK with the best wholesale desserts. We are looking to grow the business within the corporate sector and offer a service and quality second to none. We are focused on creating great products and look forward to capturing a new audience whereby we can showcase our talents."

Pretty Sweet was founded in 2014 by pastry chefs Sarah Crouchman and Claire Clark and offers patisseries for events, offices and corporate hospitality.
