Zafferano appointed preferred supplier to the Shard
Event caterer Zafferano has been appointed as a preferred supplier by the Shard.
The contract will see Zafferano catering for corporate and private events at the View from the Shard, the dedicated events space at London's tallest building.
The View from the Shard can host a wide range of exclusive breakfast and evening events for up to 400 guests. The space is also available to smaller groups for private seated dinners, and the venue's two viewing platforms provide 360-degree views of London.
Zafferano Catering was founded in 1994 and is expanding in the luxury and executive suite sectors. The company has catered for events at the Natural History Museum, Cutty Sark and Hammersmith Apollo.
Julian Saipe, Zafferano's managing director, said: "There's no doubt as to the importance of winning a place on the Shard's catering list to the Zafferano story in 2017. We are looking forward to flexing our creative muscles in the View from the Shard to deliver outstanding occasions in this unique venue."
