World's largest hospitality technology show comes to Europe

The organisers of the world's largest hospitality technology show, held annually in North America, are expanding into Europe with the launch of next month's HITEC Amsterdam.

Hospitality Industry Technology Exposition and Conference (HITEC) Amsterdam, held at the RAI Amsterdam Convention Centre on 28-30 March, will feature two days of technology-focussed presentations alongside an exhibition of hospitality technology suppliers.

The conference programme will include a keynote presentation from broadcaster Aleks Krotoski who will address the impact of technology on hospitality, while futurologist Woody Wade will describe how to anticipate changes in a business and remain competitive.

Other sessions will explore how disruptive technologies are challenging and changing the industry, new EU data privacy legislation, and how to present IT projects for approval.

Ahead of the conference, show organisers Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP) will hold round-tables with business leaders from across Europe to discuss the technological challenges they are taking on. It is also hosting Entrepreneur 20X, a hospitality technology start-up pitch competition.

For full conference details visit the HITEC website.
