World's first RFID-equipped combi from Valera

Multiple-site operators are the key target of the Leventi Combimat Mastermind, claimed to be the world's first combi-steamer to use radio frequency identification (RFID) software. This allows them to swiftly transfer new recipes and menu changes to an unlimited number of ovens across their sites. They simply download the computer data into the provided Protag, which is swiped across the front panels of the ovens, which can store up to 200 recipe programmes. Other benefits include a fully automatic cleaning programme (using SafePack to prevent drips and spills) and low water and energy consumption. The line comes in four-, six-, 10- and 15-grid versions, which are all 965mm wide, 797mm deep and between 588mm and 1,365mm high. Prices start at £6,699.
