Vote in the Caterersearch Web Awards
The shortlist of nominations for the inaugural Caterersearch.com Web Awards has been announced and we are now inviting readers to vote for the Website of the Year.
The awards, which are in association with Nestlé Professional, were launched earlier this year to recognise the tremendous growth of the internet as a tool for business.
They will reward the organisations and individuals involved in the design, management, marketing or promotion of websites across 12 categories. The judging criteria includes visual design, innovation, content, interactivity, ease of use, commercial success or potential and overall user experience.
While a shortlist has been drawn up for the first 11 categories, the Website of the Year will be chosen by the readers of Caterer and the users of Caterersearch, the judging panel and the senior editors of the Caterer Group.
For example, Andrew Fairlie is pitched against Sam's Brasserie & Bar and Restaurant Alimentum in the Independent Restaurant Website category, while competing for the Independent Hotel Award we have the Ritz, Gleneagles and Jersey's Atlantic Hotel.
To place your vote for your Website of the Year, view the shortlist here and select the site you feel deserves to win by clicking on your chosen website under the word "Vote" at the bottom of the page.
The deadline for voting is midnight on the 29th October 2008.
The awards will be presented on 17 November at an invitation-only event at the Imagination Gallery in London and announced on Caterersearch the following day.
