Vietnamese white fish from M&J Seafoods

Pangasius hypophthalmus - otherwise known as the yellowtail catfish - is the newest addition to M&J Seafood's range of white fish. Pangasius, a native of Vietnam's River Mekong and its delta, has been farmed for 10 years and yields a cost-effective alternative to hard-pressed cod and haddock stocks. The skinless and boneless fillets have a mild flavour and an average weight of 140-170g. They are supplied in cases of 30 fillets costing about £20.80.
