Video: Industry welcomes new look Caterer and Hotelkeeper at launch party

The hospitality industry turned out in force last night to celebrate the new-look Caterer and Hotelkeeper at London's recently opened Von Essen property, Hotel Verta.

Galvin at Windows general manager, Fred Sirieix, said: "I love the whole thing. It looks healthy, it looks strong - it looks like the Caterer has gone to the gym, eaten some nice healthy food and got a suntan. It looks fantastic."

Hotelier Anthony Worrall, general manager, the Trafalgar hotel: "I'm really excited about the whole redesign. It has a really refreshing new look, I would draw attention to the new Hotspots page, what a really innovative way to share ideas about creating spaces. Also, really important for the industry, a particular focus on cheffing again, which is a part of the industry that really struggles and we rely on these creative guys to build recipes and excite people about food and drink."

Celebrated chef Marcus Wareing, chef-patron of Marcus Wareing at the Berkeley, concluded: "For me, the best part has to be the chefs' part, it's great to see it back in the magazine. I think its very much part of where I am and to see where my peers are and fellow chefs and fellow competitors are, but also the first couple of pages, all the gossip and all the information about what's happening in the catering world as it happens."
