Veggie sandwiches, wraps and rolls from Cranks
Cranks has unveiled new meat-free sandwich, wrap and roll products made under licence by Brambles Foods. The new deep-fill sandwich in malted brown or wholemeal bread comes in four varieties - Coronation Egg (free-range egg, spinach and sultanas in a coronation dressing), Indian Summer (mature Cheddar with cumin-spiced cream cheese, mango chutney, sliced tomato, red onion and lettuce), Sunday Crunch (sage and onion stuffing, broccoli florets and chargrilled parsnips in a red wine dressing), and It's A Brieeze (sliced Brie with blueberry chutney). The new Full of Beans wrap marries cannellini beans with tomato salsa, mature Cheddar, mixed peppers, red onion and coriander, while the new twin packs of white and wholemeal knotted rolls come in the two options of Classic (mature farmhouse Cheddar with caramelised onion chutney, free-range egg mayonnaise and roasted tomatoes) and Continental (sliced Brie and tomato with basil pesto and Italian hard cheese, rocket and Caesar salad).
