Vacherin wins two new City catering deals worth £3m

City caterer Vacherin has picked up two new London contracts with a combined value in excess of £3m.

The two new three-year deals at international law firm Debevoise & Plimpton LLP and insurer Hiscox will see the caterer add 20 new employees to its team.

The Hiscox contract is for the catering and office services to 600 client staff on site, including the all-day Art Café, featuring original artworks from the Hiscox collection. In addition to delivering breakfast, lunch and snack offers, fine dining and hospitality, Vacherin will provide reception services as well as mail room help desk facilities.

At Debevoise & Plimpton's new offices in Gresham Street, Vacherin will provide catering services to the all-day café serving nearly 200 people daily, and a full hospitality service to the on-site meetings and events spaces.

Phil Roker, owner and commercial director for Vacherin, described the wins as a great way to start the year.

"It's a great motivator for the team and we are excited by the opportunities these new contracts bring. At Debevoise & Plimpton, healthy eating is of particular interest to our new customers there and they will be enjoying our recently expanded range of healthy dishes from our award-winning Nutritious & Delicious range.

"We're also delighted to be looking after office services for our new clients at Hiscox. We provide this service for other clients too and we believe our detail-focused service ethos is a good match for those companies who view their internal services in the same way."
