Bernard Matthews has reformulated its popular turkey meatballs to comply with the drive towards healthier eating. The recipe has been tweaked to reduce the fat and sodium content to about 7g and 400mg respectively per 100g of oven-baked meatball. Each meatball weights 14g and is available from catering wholesalers in 1kg packs that contain about 71 meatballs. The group recommends a serving of about four meatballs per child and more for adults.
