Tim Jones joins Hospitality Action board of trustees

CH&Co Group's Tim Jones has been appointed to the board of trustees of industry charity Hospitality Action.

Jones was named chairman of the caterer following the merger of CH&Co, the company initially founded by his wife Robyn in 1991, and HCM Group in May.

Commenting on his new appointment, Jones said: "I'm delighted to be an integral part of Hospitality Action. The work that it does in providing vital support to those in our industry facing hardship through illness, bereavement, poverty or addiction is truly invaluable."

Penny Moore, chief executive of Hospitality Action, added: "We are thrilled Tim has joined our board of trustees. His keen business sense and dedication to the industry will have a direct and positive impact on the charity's work. We are all looking forward to welcoming Tim and the successful times ahead."

Tickets are currently on sale for Hospitality Action's second Sporting Legends Luncheon at the Lancaster London on 2 October featuring former Rugby Union football player Kyran Bracken and television and radio presenter John Inverdale.

Packages range from £1,400 to £2,500 with a sports personality on your table and include a drinks reception and three-course lunch.
