2oz Stilton crumbled
2 rashers bacon cut up and pan-fried until crisp
½ bunch watercress washed and de-stalked
2 thick slices walnut bread
¼ ripe pear puréed
Dash lemon juice
Mix pear lemon juice and butter in blender.
Leave for several hours in fridge.
Butter bread with pear butter. Lay watercress on to the base.
Add bacon top with Stilton.
Season with freshly ground black pepper. Top with second slice of bread.
Slice as desired. Serve immediately.
