Sodexho Prestige wins Hampton Court Palace contract… and other food service news

Sodexho Prestige wins Hampton Court Palace flower shows contracts
Sodexho Prestige, the events and corporate hospitality division of Sodexho, has won three three-year contracts to provide public catering, hospitality sales and catering services at the Chelsea, Tatton and Hampton Court Palace flower shows. The combined turnover for the three events is £3.3m per year. Sodexho prestige has provided the services at the Chelsea Flower show for more than 20 years and at Tatton, Cheshire, since it began in 1999. Hampton Court was previously run by Compass Group events and hospitality division Payne and Gunter. During the event, the company will employ about 800 staff per day at Chelsea, 500 at Hampton and 180 at Tatton.

Honeywell signs Buckley Support Services Buckley Support Services (BSS) started a three-year deal with engineering and infrastructure giant Honeywell in Motherwell, Lanarkshire on 23 October. The deal turns over £250,000 a year and sees BSS provide catering and hospitality services to 1,000 employees. The contract was previously held by Compass business and industry division Eurest for 16 years. Six catering staff have transferred over as pat of the deal.

Scolarest adds East Surrey College to its booksCompass Group education division Scolarest has won a five-year contract to provide catering services at East Surrey College in Redhill. The contract, which will turn over £200,000 per year, will see nine staff cater for up to 1,600 students and staff. The deal was previously run in house.
