Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents invites hospitality companies to enter 2007 awards

The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (Rospa) is targeting the hotel and catering sector to enter its 2007 Occupational Health and Safety Awards.

Entry is open to organisations large and small across the UK from both the public and private sectors.

Susan Elston, managing director, offshore and remote sites at contract caterer Aramark, which was a 2006 award winner, said: "We were proud to win the Rospa Hotel and Catering Sector Award. It helps our drive for continuous improvement and recognises the efforts and involvement of our staff."

Last year the awards celebrated their 50th anniversary with 1,300 entries. Winners of 2007's competition will be presented with their accolades next May at Occupational Health and Safety Congress to the National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham.

To enter the awards visit Rospa's website here. Closing date for entries is 19 February 2007.
