Restaurant Associates wins CBI catering contract

Restaurant Associates (RA) has won a three-year deal with the Confederation of British Industry (CBI) to deliver catering service at its new Cannon Street office.

Worth £540,000, the new contract will see the executive dining arm of Compass Group provide staff dining for 180 employees, as well as meeting room and events services and across the CBI's auditorium, members' lounge and meeting rooms.

Andy Harris, managing director of Restaurant Associates, said: "The CBI wanted a partner that could support it with the opening of its new office and the delivery of an innovative food offer."

The food offer will feature new concepts based on global food trends and RA will introduce its premium coffee concept Penny & Perc at the Cannon Place site.

The CBI is an independent, non-profit making organisation funded by member subscriptions and dedicated to promoting the aims and needs of business.
