Restaurant Associates appoints head of business development

Restaurant Associates has appointed Duncan Kendall into the newly created position of head of business development.

He will work with the team reporting to business development director James Greetham, in order to capitalise on a number of high profile contract wins.

Kendall previously worked for Restaurant Associates as business development manager between 2008 and 2012.

He returns to the business following a successful period as sales director at Gather & Gather, where he has worked since 2013.

Greetham said: "This appointment demonstrates how our business is growing and that we have a clear vision for how we'll be further developing it in the future. It's great to have Duncan back in the team to help drive our growth strategy, he'll be working closely with me and the rest of the team to maximise our existing and potential new client base."

Kendall added: "It's good to be back in the Restaurant Associates team. This is a brilliant opportunity to work in a business that has some great clients and talent, we have exciting plans for the future and I'm looking forward to developing and delivering them."

Restaurant Associates is the executive dining division of Compass Group UK & Ireland.

It caters for a range of clients including banking organisations, boutique law firms, independent media agencies and international accounting corporations.
