RA names former Sodexo boss as business development director

Restaurant Associates has named former Sodexo boss James Greetham as its new business development director.

Greetham's new role sees him assume overall responsibility for business development and marketing across the Restaurant Associates (RA) business, the executive dining division of Compass Group.

His most recent position was managing director of Prestige London, the London fine-dining arm of foodservice and facilities management firm Sodexo.

He previously headed business development at Searcys 1847 and was sales director for Elior.

Commenting on the new appointment RA managing director Andy Harris said: "James has worked in the industry for many years and I'm certain that he'll bring passion, knowledge and experience to this role, enabling us to build on the success and growth of Restaurant Associates."

Greetham added: "I am thrilled to join an organisation with a clear focus on delivering such high standards of food and service to all of its clients.

"Its attitude towards driving innovation and the entrepreneurial approach across its business is really exciting and we've got some brilliant plans in place to drive the business even further forward."
