Pabulum to cater at London Nautical School

Hampshire-based caterer Pabulum has won a two-year education catering contract with the London Nautical School in Waterloo based on its commitment to healthy eating.

The new deal, worth in excess of £235,000, will see Pabulum deliver a meals service to around 650 pupils at the school, which has specialist sports status.

Amanda Ciraulo, Pabulum's director of sales, commented: "Obviously a healthy diet and an understanding of healthy eating is a central theme at the London Nautical School, so our approach to this important aspect of school life was very compelling."

The school's business manager, Karen Powell, agreed: "We expect our students to have a good understanding of the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle and to practise the same.

"This is important for students when they participate in the wide range of sporting activities and physical pursuits we offer and which reflect the ethos of our sports college status.
