Northumberland inn moves into foodservice with £1.5m Queen's Hall Arts deal

Northumberland inn the Angel of Corbridge has taken its first steps into foodservice with a £1.5m contract to operate the café and bar at Queen's Hall Arts in Hexham.

The five-year deal will begin in November when the 15-bedroom hotel's team will completely refurbish the café. It will reopen it as an Italian-themed operation called the Little Angel Café and serve coffee, cakes, pastries, sandwiches, salads, pizzas, wine and gelato.

The revamp is expected to complete in time for a relaunch on 2 December.
