Lindley Catering wins football catering contracts
Lindley Catering has signed six contracts worth £11.5m over the next five years with football clubs in England and Scotland, including Sheffield Wednesday, Motherwell and Millwall.
The largest single deal in the group of wins is with Championship side Sheffield Wednesday, worth £4m in turnover to Lindley Catering
It will see the refurbishment of 29 kiosks in the public concourse of the 40,000 seat Hillsborough stadium with Lindley supplying 150 full and part-time staff to man the facilities.
Other wins include Scottish Premier League side Motherwell's Fir Park ground, which is also ground-sharing with fellow Premier League side Gretna. Both sets of home games will be catered for.
Lindley has also signed deals with Northampton Town, Milton Keynes Dons and Bradford City as well as a £1.5m deal with Millwall in south-east London.
Paul Biffen, sales and marketing director at Lindley, said: "Every sports venue that Lindley has worked with has, without fail, increased their catering turnover by at least 10% and in some instances as much as 50%, enabling them to reinvest profits from their catering business back into their clubs."
