Levy Restaurants invests £100,000 in 2013 training academies
Compass Group's Levy Restaurants brand is set to invest a further £100,000 in staff training and development with the repeat of its Management Academy.
The training programme, which launched last year, aims to develop managers' service and product knowledge while at the same time enhancing managerial and leadership skills.
Two academies were run in 2012, each with 50 delegates, which David Goddard (pictured), learning and development business partner at Levy, described as hugely successful.
"Having run two so far, we've already seen a great impact on engagement amongst our management team, retention of our people and of course an improvement in our business performance," he added.
The week-long residential course is held at a different Levy Restaurants venue each day in order to give delegates the chance to see a range of operations, and to allow a number of venue teams to be involved.
