Leather menus

Leather menus

Although digitally printed leather menus may sound like something made specifically for steak houses - assuming that diners in such meat meccas would have no beef about ordering their sirloin from the hide of a cow - Opus 9 Leather Printing has high hopes that its latest innovation will prove a must-have accessory across the whole hospitality industry.

The product is made by tattooing a piece of leather with tiny droplets of ink at resolutions as fine as 1,000 dots per inch, a process which allows any logo or brand design, and of course a menu, to be printed.

The menus come in a variety of styles and sizes, from book form to single A4- or A5-sized covers, and are made from vegetable-tanned leather.

Prices: from £25 to £85 per menu
