Learnpurple expands training branches into Scotland
Hospitality training firm Learnpurple is expanding its business to Scotland, with a site in Edinburgh.
Gavin McLean, Learnpurple managing director, will lead the new venture when the office opens on 25 February.
Jane Sunley, founder and chief executive of Learnpurple, has appeared at numerous conferences and speaking engagements throughout Scotland and has chaired the Scottish Enterprise Sales in the City Conference in Glasgow three times.
She said: "I've always loved doing work in Scotland, people are so very receptive to new ideas and our style and approach. We've aspired to a Scottish branch for quite some time and feel the time is right. I'm so looking forward to expanding on this now."
Learnpurple has a positive history north of the border, having worked with Scottish-based hotels such as Malmaison, Hotel du Vin and Cameron House.
Sean Wheeler, head of people at Malmaison and Hotel du Vin added: ‘‘When looking at the current financial climate, there can only be one route to take: creative solutions to retain, develop and engage the great people you have."
