Kudos event space the Suite sees 43% growth in bookings
Kudos-operated event space the Suite, at the National Football Museum in Manchester, has seen a 43% growth in events bookings thanks to the World Cup.
The Suite, which is on the top floor of the museum, and operated by the Crown Group-owned foodservice firm, said it had been overwhelmed by the surge in daytime and early evening event enquiries.
Nicky Pratt, business development director for Kudos, commented that the venue's interactive and entertainment elements made it an attractive daytime space, in contrast to many historical venues only available in the evening.
She said: "This combination of space answers the challenge faced by any event organiser â' how can I make my event as engaging as possible to get delegates to attend? Or if for staff, try and make the day different for them?"
Kudos has a range of catering and events management deals across the UK, including at sports stadia, media centres, conference and exhibition sites, theatres, auditoria and banqueting halls.
Its most recent deals include an £800,000 five-year contract with Harvey Nichols Knightsbridge; a £300,000 contract for the Coronation Street set tour, Manchester; and a £4.5m deal with the Brighton Centre.
