Kudos Coronation Street contract extended
Kudos is to continue its relationship with Coronation Street The Tour after its contract at the attraction was extended for 15 months in a deal worth £750,000.
The caterer, part of the Crown Group, will now run its Crew Kitchen and Crew Kitchen mobile H-Van until December 2015 after planning was granted for the tour to remain open.
Since it opened in April 2014, Coronation Street The Tour has attracted over 300,000 visitors. Kudos said it would invest in a marquee and café furniture to accommodate additional numbers in the coming months.
The 45-minute tour takes visitors behind the scenes of the famous soap where they can access sets and walk on the famous cobbles.
Kevin Smith, director of attractions at Continuum Leading Attractions, which operates the tour, said: "We've had a highly successful partnership with Kudos over the past six months and we're excited to be extending it for a further 15 months."
