Keith Prowse warns of bogus hospitality providers
Hospitality provider Keith Prowse has issued a warning to UK businesses to beware of being mis-sold corporate hospitality.
Suppliers looking to cash in are already trying to sell hospitality packages for the World Athletics Championships 2017, the latest addition to the UK's Golden Decade of Sport. But official suppliers are yet to be appointed.
Some firms have already taken telesales calls offering men's 100 metre final corporate hospitality packages according to Keith Prowse managing director Andrew Hodgkins.
He said: "As yet the official suppliers have not been appointed. Any purported ‘corporate hospitality packages' are therefore speculative and should not be purchased under any circumstances.
"The rights holders of every event will have key official suppliers and authorised suppliers who are appointed for their business integrity and ability to fulfil their obligations."
