Harbour & Jones reports 7% growth

Boutique caterer Harbour & Jones (H&J) has reported a 7% rise in annual turnover to £31.9m.

The company achieved pre-tax profit of £1.3m in the year ended 31 December 2013, up 26.9% from £1.03m the year before, according to documents filed at Companies House.

H&J said it had invested around £249,000 in 2013 in capital assets across the business, including a move into a new central support office on London's Charing Cross Road.

Growth was reported within all divisions, including business and industry, which saw new clients Perenco, Arthur J Gallagher, Ashurst LLP and the Royal Society of Chemistry added to the portfolio.
