Graysons secures two new contracts
Contract caterer Graysons Restaurants has won two contracts worth more than £2m over the next five years.
The independent caterer has won a five-year contract worth £300k a year for the newly refurbished public restaurant, the Green Café, at Nene Park near Peterborough.
The menu will offer local produce from local suppliers. Simon Silvester, Graysons executive chef, said: "Our focus will be to use locally sourced fresh produce and offer good honest food that is both modern and complements the new facility".
The café, which is open to all visitors to the park, is open throughout the year and was previously run by a local company.
Meanwhile in Manchester, Graysons has won its first contract in the city - a three-year deal worth £200k a year for McCann Manchester Limited. The win sees Graysons running the site's cafe services, hospitality and events and employing around 250 staff.
The appointment is the fourth Graysons has had in the past two years from the IPG group, having previously won contracts to run IPG's McCann Erickson, MRM and DLKW Lowe sites.
Ian Summers, business development director, said: "Graysons are thrilled to have been awarded such a prestigious contract in Manchester and consolidate our relationship with IPG."
