Gosset champagne unveils new addition to its Celebris portfolio

The wine, which was launched in London yesterday, is made from 100% chardonnay grape and is expected to retail for around £100 a bottle.

The blanc de blancs is recommended to be served as an aperitif or with foods such as chicken, mushrooms, rabbit confit, apricot tart or cheeses including gorgonzola, parmesan and pecorino.

Odilon de Varine, executive director for Champagne Gosset, said:

"It was important for us to create a unique, worthwhile interpretation of Chardonnay. We assembled and blended our Blanc de Blancs cru by cru, element by element, vintage by vintage, and we are proud of the result - our own unique interpretation of Chardonnay."
