Elior wins £8.75m University of Chichester catering deal

Elior has won a new £8.75m catering contract at the University of Chichester.

The five-year deal will see the caterer tasked with transforming the campus foodservices, with a focus on contemporary foods and customer service.

The developments include a complete refit of both the Chichester and Bognor campuses' refectories featuring new café bars, seating areas with Wi-Fi workstations and a range of serving areas offering a range of healthy and affordable food options.

These will include several of Elior's themed high-street concepts, designed to encourage all who work and study at the university to stay on campus.

Paul Fisher, director of education for Elior UK, said: "We are delighted to have been given this opportunity to work with the University of Chichester and we've developed an exciting food offer that will encourage students to stay on-campus and enjoy the new facilities.

"We have used our expertise in the university sector to provide a smooth and efficient transition to deliver a quality of service and product. We will be working to encourage customers to keep coming back every day. Providing an excellent customer experience is paramount to our success."
