Elior UK restructuring continues apace with new appointments

Elior UK has continued its rapid restructuring with the appointment of three managing directors to head up the caterer's newly formed divisions day-to-day.

Catherine Roe has been promoted to managing director of Concessions, Lynn McClelland takes the same role but at Contract Catering and Andrew Mortimer becomes managing director at the recently formed Integrated Services.

Roe was director of purchasing at the caterer. McClelland was UK managing director of Equipment Financing at General Electric and Mortimer was group sales director at Elior.

Mike Audis, chief executive of Elior UK, said of the appointments: "This is a key point in the evolution of Elior UK and these appointments are especially significant to our sector specific development."

Contract caterer Elior revealed in May that is was launching a dedicated facilities management division, worth some £30m in turnover, as part of a major shake-up of its UK operations.

As part of the restructure, which came into force on the 28 May, a number of redundancies, thought to be in the region of 30 to 50 employees, have been made.
