Elior team conquers Hadrian's Wall for charity

A team of ramblers from contract caterer Elior UK walked the length of Hadrian's Wall for the company's Plan International charity last weekend.

Led by chief executive Michael Audis, the team of 13 set off on Friday morning, with four support team members, and were joined by a further three walkers for the Saturday "marathon" section.

Sporting a selection of blisters, sprains and aching feet, the whole team crossed the line on Monday morning having completed the 87-mile challenge and raised about £10,000 for Plan.

Earlier this month, Elior took part in the Ludlow Marches Food and Drink Festival to raise money for the Plan clean water project in Burkino Faso.

At the beginning of October, the company is holding a Fed or Famished quiz night at Lloyd's of London.
