Ductwork spring clean from Supersteam UK

A new fully patented technology promises to clean kitchen extraction vents and ductwork back to bare metal without resorting to dangerous chemicals, thus reducing the risk of fire and potential problems with insurers. The system from SuperSteam uses highly saturated steam that has been super-heated up to 450°C and released at atmospheric pressure. It heats and melts solidified fats and grease along the length of the ductwork (up to 40 metres from the access point), not just a few feet in like other systems. The debris is removed using custom-made brushes or jet nozzles and collected in drain boxes. The 85kg unit, which measures 1,200mm x 500mm x 500mm, takes just a few minutes to heat up the steam.
