Cucina wins three school deals worth a total of £2.5m

School foodservice firm Cucina has won three new catering contracts with three secondary schools, worth £2.5m over three years.

The deals are with Charters School, Berkshire (1,685 pupils on roll); St Crispin's School, Berkshire (1,125 pupils), and Wollaston School, Northamptonshire (1,400 pupils).

The first two are set to begin on 1 August, with the third on 1 September.

Cucina's managing director Steve Quinn said: "All three of these schools set catering and food education as a high priority and we are delighted to become their catering partners."

Cucina provides catering to a host of schools around the country, including Glynn School in Surrey and Goffs School in Cheshunt. It also runs a restaurant, the Oxford Kitchen, in the Summertown area of Oxford.
