Crown Group awarded ISO 22000
The Crown Group has been awarded the ISO 22000 accreditation for food safety, following a rigorous audit process.
The hospitality and venue business was recognised for its ability to control food safety hazards appropriately and develop standardised processes that enable staff to effectively manage their supply chain.
Less than one per cent of businesses in the UK currently have the ISO22000 accreditation.
The Group now has all four major accreditations including ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO18001, which recognise its systems for quality management, environmental management and occupational health and safety management.
The accreditation covers the Group's Kudos, Seasoned Events, London's Flying Chef and Leisurextra businesses.
Karl Wilkinson, safety and assurance manager, Crown Group, said: "It's a fantastic achievement to be able to further demonstrate to all existing and potential clients that we place great importance on delivering safe food of an exceptional quality, consistently throughout our business."
