Contract caterers win World Farming Good Egg Award
Contract caterers were big winners at the Good Farm Animal Welfare Awards, held at St Paul's Cathedral.
Compass Group's Leith's and The MET Office and Sodexo were both recognised for their commitment to sourcing only free range eggs, while Accent Catering, took home the World Farming's Good Egg Award for switching to cage-free eggs at all its sites.
Pride Catering received a Good Egg award for helping farm animals live more enriched lives through their business purchasing.
Compassion in World Farming project that 25 million hens are set to benefit from the policies of the award winners.
