Concerto announces the appointment of Adam Elliott as its new CEO

The Concerto Group event catering business has appointed Adam Elliott, the former chief operating officer of the One Group, as chief executive.

Elliott will replace Sam Gill, who will continue as a non-executive director, following his arrival this month.

Prior to joining the international hospitality company the One Group as EMEA hospitality and leisure specialist in November 2015, Elliott had been chief executive of Lindley Group (now Centerplate), having previously worked at Elior. He has also worked as a catering consultant at Tottenham Hotspur Football Club.

Elliott said: "Concerto has one of the best reputations in the industry and I look forward to building on the solid foundations already in place and taking the group on a journey of growth, both in new and exciting opportunities."

David Gilbertson, group chairman of the Concerto Group, added: "We feel that Adam is richly qualified and equipped to fulfil that role and to take the group forward as we plan for the next phase of the company's growth. We are delighted that Sam will continue to deliver his expertise and experience to the group at board level."

The Concerto Group is a £37m turnover business, providing event management, venues and catering across 16 brands.
