Compass's WhiteOaks wins £1.6m deal with Abbeyfield Wey Valley Society
Compass Group‘s senior living business WhiteOaks has won a £1.6m contract with Abbeyfield Wey Valley Society.
The five-year deal will see WhiteOaks provide freshly cooked meals to the 78 residents based in three of Abbeyfield's homes, all of which are based within a two-mile radius in Surrey.
A team of dieticians has designed the menus, which will feature monthly themed events with celebratory dishes, decorations and posters.
WhiteOaks will also introduce a Saturday breakfast club, serving all-morning brunch, with freshly-brewed coffee and the morning papers to create a welcoming and relaxed environment for residents to be visited by family and friends.
Steve Cenci, managing director of Compass Group's healthcare business, said: "Abbeyfield's three Surrey care homes are very comfortable and homely and WhiteOaks' homemade meals will complement the setting perfectly. We look forward to the start of a strong partnership."
The contract goes live this month and follows the news of WhiteOaks' agreement with Staffordshire Housing Association in June.
