Compass Group's Levy closes Leeds United restaurant Howard's
Compass Group's Levy Restaurants has closed Howard's, its restaurant at Leeds United Football Club's Elland Road ground.
Howard's closed its doors for good following the club's last home game of the season against Brighton & Hove Albion, reported the Yorkshire Post.
A spokesperson for Levy Restaurants confirmed the closure, but the reason remains unclear: "We can confirm that Howard's Restaurant is now closed.
"We would like to thank all of our guests for their amazing support and can confirm we will continue to provide a range of great food and drink facilities across the stadium including Billy's Bar which will remain open seven days a week."
Howards, which was located at the corner of the South and West stands at Elland Road, opened in 2010 as part of a push by Leeds United chairman Ken Bates efforts to improve the food and beverage offer at the venue.
Levy was awarded the multi-million pound contract to cater at Leeds United FC last June.
