Compass Group wins contract extension at Southampton Football Club

Compass Group's Facilities Management Catering (FMC) has added to its roster of sporting clients netting a three-year £4m-a-year turnover deal at Southampton Football Club.

The caterer, which has run services at the Saints since 2001, will continue to provide 1,500 covers on a match day including public feeding to the club's corporate hospitality offer.

Southampton's St Mary's stadium also hosts a number of gala dinners, exhibitions and conferences throughout the year, which FMC will provide catering services for.

John O'Sullivan, head of business development at Southampton, said: "This extension to the contract is truly deserved and recognises their importance and integration with the club."

FMC also provides catering services at Wimbledon Law Tennis Club and Chelsea FC.
