Compass appoints Andy Barry managing director of Eurest's food service arm
Andy Barry has been appointed managing director of the food service arm of Compass Group's Eurest Services.
Barry will report to sector managing director of business and industry Jason Leek when in July he takes up his new position responsible for all Eurest's food-centric business across the UK. He will work alongside Steve Davies, managing director for the facilities management business division of Eurest.
Commenting on his new role, Barry described it as the "perfect next step" in his career. He continued: "I am thrilled to have the chance to build on the strength of the Eurest Services brand within the food service sector, ensuring we continue to deliver great service and great results to our clients and look forward to working with the team across the country to achieve this."
Leek added: "Our people are key to the success of our business and I believe Andy will enable us to strengthen the Eurest Services business on a national scale."
Barry began his Compass career almost four years ago and his most recent position was business director for Eurest Services South.
Ivan Bonner, currently business director for Eurest Services North will be joining Compass Group Australia as operations director in June. The company describes it as a fantastic opportunity for Bonner and "testament to the significant contribution he has made to the business."
