Catermasters wins £550,000-a-year Detica contract extension

Workplace catering specialist Catermasters has won an extension to its foodservice contract at Detica's UK headquarters, in a deal worth £550,000 annually.

The international business and technology consulting firm has employed the services of Catermasters for the past 15 years.

The three-year extension requires Catermasters to provide a "fresh and innovative" foodservice for up to 600 staff at Detica's new UK headquarters building in Guildford, Surrey and up to 200 other staff across the firm's three satellite sites.

Catermasters managing director, Nigel Johnson, said: "We're really pleased to continue our 15-year relationship with Detica. The people at Detica share our values when it comes to food quality and innovation, and they recognise the emphasis we continue to place on customer service and value.

"Retaining existing business is key in the current economic climate and this extension shows the rewards that are available when you understand your client and work hard."
