Catering Academy wins £3.5m extension contract at Adam's Grammar
Foodservice company Catering Academy has won a £3.5m, seven-year contract extension with Adam's Grammar School, Shropshire.
The deal originally began in 2010, but this new contract will see a new, separate catering site added for the school's 300 sixth form pupils in a bid to encourage them to purchase food on-site.
The new "Team Academy" facility will take the form of a café-style concept, offering grab-and-go snacks, hot drinks and daily menu changes designed to appeal to older teenagers.
Founder director at Catering Academy Louise Wymer said that the company was very happy to have renewed the deal.
She said: "Contract retention is vital to our business; not only does it demonstrate that our clients understand our ethos, it also underlines our ability to deliver a service that consistently meets and exceeds expectations."
Catering Academy has deals with many educational establishments, having announced more than £18m worth of contracts with Cambridge Regional College, Kingston Maurward College and Reading College, among four academy schools, in the past year.
