Catering Academy wins £2m deal at Rochdale Sixth Form College
Independent contract catering firm Catering Academy has won a new £2m deal at Rochdale Sixth Form College.
As part of the five-year contract, which begins when the new college opens this month, the caterer will provide vending and hospitality services to the 1,300 full-time students.
Catering Academy will also be responsible for the refectory-style restaurant serving a menu of locally sourced produce and a Starbucks café deli.
The firm's founder director, Kevin Cannon, said: "We found an instant correlation to what Rochdale were trying to achieve.
"Their drive to create a culture based upon excellence aligned naturally with Catering Academy's commitment to sustaining a service that is second to none."
